Rippleton’s Annual Valentines Dance-a-thon Fundraiser

Hi parents,

We are thrilled to announce that on Thursday February 11th, RAPT will be hosting the annual Valentines Dance-a-thon. 

Each class will have the opportunity to participate in the dance-a-thon. 

RAPT has hired the entertainment group the Magen Boys to come DJ and dance with the students. They bring a lot of energy and fun and the kids love to learn their routines.

Our goal is $7000.00 and proceeds from our fundraising efforts will support technology enhancements for our school. As well, donations will be used towards purchasing STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) classroom equipment.

We hope that you will support this event with your customary generosity and enthusiasm.

Please see the flyers that came home this week for more details! 

As always, we need parents' help to:
 help decorate and take down decorations in the gym on Thursday February 11th.
 supervise lunch in the classrooms (grades 1-3) on Thursday February 11th.
 help count donations and issue raffle tickets on the afternoon of Wednesday February 17th.

After School and Lunch Activities - January

Hello parents,

Below are the list of activities offered for the winter session starting mid January. Several forms have been sent home prior to the holidays. Some teacher provided activities and Snider School forms will follow soon. 

If your child attends daycare, please make sure to fill out the daycare form sent via email.

Hard copies of all forms are available at the school’s office.

Bridge Club from Ms. Cooper - Grades 5 & 6 - After School Activity - Tuesdays - Free

Colouring Club from Ms. Buck - Lunch Activity - Grades 1 to 3 - Free

Chess Club from Ms. Ormos - Lunch Activity - Grades - Free

Knitting Club from Ms. Lucas -  Lunch Activity -  Grades -  Free

Karate by Northern Karate Schools for Beginners Only - Lunch Activity - Wednesdays  - For Karate Beginners only (first timers) - $45.20 (incl HST)

Guitar lessons by Snider School of Music - Lunch Activity - Tuesdays - Grades 3-6 - $ 136+ HST for 8 weeks (guitar included) - January 19 to March 8 (flyer not attached)

Painting & Mixed Media from Avenue Road Art School - After School Activity - Grades JK/SK & 1-3 - $170+HST

Drawing & Painting from Avenue Road Arts School - After School Activity - Grades 4-6 - $170+HST

Dino Club Part 2 from Kids Fun Factory - After School Activit - Grades JK/SK - $120+HST

Builders & Transportation from Kids Fun Factory - After School Activity - Grades 1-3 - $110+HST

Cheerleading Club from Kids Fun Factory - After School Activity - Grades 4-6 - $110+HST

Video Game Programming from Kids Great Minds - After School Activity - Grades 5 & 6 - Tuesdays - $136.73 for 8 week session, 40 minutes each sessions.
