Fence is Coming Down!

All are invited to a very brief (15 mins) ceremony to say goodbye to our two year fence around the field area. We will be gathering at 2:45 on Tuesday, June 19^th to have a quick ceremony. On Wednesday morning, at 7:30, the crews will start to take the fence down. Hopefully they will be done before the last recess so that the students can have their first taste of our new field.

We hope you can make it. If not, please do come by and see the wonderful OPEN field when you can.

Cookbooks

Soccer Champions

Congratulations to the Girls 5/6 Soccer team for their City Championship title.  They handedly won both their games with a score of 3-0 to take the title.

Cookbook Update

If you are anxiously waiting for your cookbook, the books are in the presses now and we expect them to be shipped next week.  With all of your support we were able to place an order for 105 cookbooks.

Freezie Fridays

Freezie Fridays are back in support of the Grade 6 Graduation.  Bring a loonie to school to buy a freezie at lunch recess.  The first Freezie Friday is May 18th and will continue until June 15th.

Track & Field

The North Conference Qualification Meet was held today at Esther Shiner and our Roadrunners did a fantastic job representing our school.  We have some great jumpers, throwers and runners that have Qualified to move on to the North Conference Meet on June 7.

Thank you to all the parents who volunteered to drive students to and from the early and late events.
