Cookbook
·
Janin R presented progress on the cookbook
fundraiser
·
Theme will be ‘Easy Eats’ and the Gateway
publishing website is ready to accept recipes
·
Flyer to parents ready to go out in the Thursday
mailing
·
80 recipes will be needed to make the project
move forward
·
Discussion occurred regarding the theme. Some concern was raised that the scope wasn’t
broad enough however, Janin R explained that narrowing it to one topic this
year and others in following years helps to ensure this is something that could
happen annually
Decision As the
decision was made at the last RAPT meeting that the theme would be Easy Eats to
enable an annual cookbook, and given that the set up for this theme has been
done, the theme will remain ‘Easy Eats’
·
Janin R suggested a cookbook cover contest for
the students
o
One cover winner and 4 section winners could be
chosen
·
Cookbook notice will go with a deadline of March
23rd for recipe submissions
o
Cannot wait until after March Break to put out
flyer as it would push delivery of the cookbook into June.
